Offcut Studio x WONDERHAUS

A collaboration with @offcutstudio to repurpose my laser cut plastic waste back into new sheet material.

Lucy Williams is the brain behind @offcutstudio

An advocate for sharing recycling knowledge, she has spent the last 12 months working at Precious Plastics HQ in Eindhoven, researching plastic waste and creative solutions to our plastic problem.

Utilising a heated platen press, acrylic offcuts are squished at a controlled temperature until they are reformed into new sheet material. This new material can be cut again with a laser cutter, creating an innovative circular recycling system.
